Your eating habits

Greetings everyone!  I'm Jayna Sheffield at the business desk and today I'd like to chat a bit about your eating habits.  I won't blame you for being tired of hearing about how badly we eat here in the united States, how grossly overweight so many of us are, and so on and so on.  Nevertheless, we need to pay attention to some very important things and I'd like to give you some gentle reminders.
A recent CNN news clip suggests that parents should spend more time eating with their kids so as to ensure that they eat correctly and eat the right things.  Our American kids are being sent so many mixed messages these days re their eating habits.  On the one hand they are being told by the health and dietary experts that they should lose weight, and on the other they are being bombarded with tons of adds by fast food chains as to why they should be eating their foods.  Did you know that there's a McDonald's on almost every third street corner in the United States?  How do we expect our kids to get things right when we send them so many mixed messages?
My next point has to do with the portion sizes we consume here in America.  Yesterday NBC news came out with some very concerning stats.  On the whole, restaurants serve about four times the prescribed size of portion as set out by our government and these portion sizes are about six times the amount that we would normally eat at home.  Scary, concerning, and we need to take action now!  In Denmark the government has taken positive action to reduce trans fats and it is working.  Apparently the Danes have reduced the use of trans fats to be used by restaurants to 2%.  Maybe we should be paying closer attention to this?
I remember seeing a news item last week where some health experts were saying that one of the safest and surest ways to lose weight would be for us to make our portions smaller.  It makes sense to me.  Instead of using those huge dinner plates and loading them up with tons of fatty foods, how about using smaller plates and stocking them with more healthy food such as more veggies, less carbs, and less meats.
I have a parting suggestion for those of you who are looking for new careers.  The American government is looking for dieticians and they are willing to pay handsomely for persons with these types of skills.  Our government is very concerned about the rising trend of overweight Americans, too much trans fats in our foods, and the spiralling rate of associated disabling diseases such as diabetes and heart problems.  They are willing to pay you big bucks if you are interested in becoming a culinary or dietary professional.  Not sure where to start?  Then check out our book Untapped Wealth Discovered.  This very affordable book is a must read for you.  It will show you how to find those very niche opportunities in niche markets that are extremely lucrative, rich, and very explosive.
