Women in small businesses on the rise

Good day everyone!  I'm Jeff Marquis at the business desk and today I'd like to draw your attention to a very healthy trend sweeping across our country.  It pertains to more and more women opening up and running very successful small businesses and I say look out men!  Our women folk means business and they are threatening to overtake the small business world.
There used to be a time when the business world was exclusive to men and it was especially so in the small business arena.  However, this is changing rapidly because of a few very important factors.  For one thing women are now much more confident and much more business savvy.  They are more focused and serious about their careers be it in the boardroom or in the office of their small business.  For another they are being given very enticing incentives by all levels of government as well as the lending institutions and in addition to this they are forming themselves into women's organizations of all sizes and these orgs are helping to support them in their efforts.
Women these days are paying more attention to what consumers are looking for.  They are also interested in earning additional incomes to help support their own families.  They are also looking for things to do while at home either on maternity leave or as stay at home moms.  Many are also single moms and in order to support themselves and keep up with their schedules which include those of their kids, they are turning to small business opportunities.  I can tell you of several of our female clients who are presently running successful small businesses.
Meet Kate Glazer:  Kate runs a cake decorating business and has been doing so for the past five years.  Her husband was killed in action in Iraq and Kate was left with two young kids.  Kate works hard, decorates cakes for a living, and is kept busy almost all of the time.  She manages to meet her house expenses plus some and employs an assistant to help her.
Meet Nicole Pearson:  A very successful virtual office manager.  Nicole is also a single parent and manages to run two virtual offices fulltime, keeps up with three teenagers, and is making very healthy six figure incomes.  We don't know how she manages to do it but she certainly does.
Meet Paula Cross:  Paula decided to open up her own gift shop to help increase the family's income.  Her husband Eric is an electronics technician and works fulltime but his income is not quite enough to feed his family of himself, Paula, and five kids.  Paula has been in business for over seven years now and her gift shop is thriving.  She employs two assistants to help out.
Meet Jane Saxby:  Jane is a bit unique for the type of business that she runs.  Jane runs a year round ice skating school and she too is very successful.  Jane decided to go into her own business because she wanted to make her own money.  Her husband Mark is a family and can provide for his family but Jane is in business for her own satisfaction.
Yes, women in business is definitely on the rise and I'd like to put out a call for more women to do so.  Our book Untapped Wealth Discovered can help you women to get started.  Our book is very affordable, contains many proven strategies, and has sections that are specifically dedicated to helping women.
