Making income after retirement

Hello there!  I'm Matt Chadwick at the www.untappedwealth.com business desk and today I'd like to chat a bit about earning income after retirement.
So many of us these days are focusing on that very important date of retirement and too many of us are not really giving enough attention to what we can do upon retirement.  Retirement can be regarded as a very good thing if we know how to view it in a positive way.  We should not think of retirement as the end of our working days or the end of our career.  We should not view retirement as the end of our ability to earn income.  We should not view retirement as an evil.  What we should be doing is to view retirement as the start of a new phase of our lives.  A stage when we get to choose what we want to do.  If we want to travel, then yes we can certainly travel.  If we want to keep on earning income then why not!  I'd like to share a few examples with you of some of our clients who have retired but are still income and enjoying what they're doing.
First, meet Andrew Shields.  Andrew used to work as a highly paid executive in the music industry but he was downsized five years before he qualified for retirement.  He did not waste any time deciding what to do or how to bridge the gap between his downsizing and his retirement.  Andrew took his separation package from Sony and used a small portion of it to obtain computer training and within months he had set himself up as an eBay specialist buying and selling music CDs and other types of musical stuff on behalf of others.  Today Andrew has a large group of clients who depend on him to buy and sell their products on eBay.  He is making over $75,000 annually and has been doing so for the past three years and he is thinking of expanding his business.  Andrew is having a ball in his new role.
Meet Frank Rosario.  Frank retired from his job at age 60 and he is earning good money doing house painting.  He makes about $55,000 annually and he too is enjoying his new additional income that allows him and his wife Lola to travel to places that they always wanted to visit but could not do so while he was working because he could not afford it.
Meet Darla Richards.  Darla decided to retire early from her job as an office administrator and she decided to become a hairdresser.  Today Darla offers her services to homes for seniors, and complexes for seniors.  She brings her services to her clients instead of them going to her and she too is earning healthy five figure incomes.
I could go on and on, but I think that you're probably getting the picture.  Retirement is nothing to be afraid of.  You can do so much with your time and your imagination.  Of course I recognize that in many cases retirement can be a horrific experience for many, but for today I'd like you to look on the brighter side of things.  If you're looking for ideas to help you earn some safe income upon retirement then check out our book Untapped Wealth Discovered.  This book has several ideas and strategies for retirees that are safe, logical, and free of scams and scammers.
