A niche market waiting for you

Today I'd like for you to meet two clients of ours. They live in England, they are best of friends, and their names are Katie and Maura.
Three years ago on one of my trips to Britain I bumped into these two fabulous ladies in a pub and we got chatting. They had both just retired from their jobs as nurses and they were looking for something to do with their time. We got talking and I really liked their attitude and before I left them I gave them my business card and told them to contact us if they felt that they wanted to talk more. Upon my return to America there was an email waiting for me from Katie and Maura and the rest is history.
At first we communicated with them via email and then it grew into weekly long distance calls. This went on for about six months but at the end of this we had helped Katie and Maura to develop a market plan for them to go into business as senior home and hospital entertainers whereby they would entertain seniors and persons in hospitals with their piano and electric keyboard playing. This was something very new for us because we had never helped anyone in this field before and we were not sure how this would turn out but these ladies wanted to try and were determined to make a go of it. So off they went and we decided to follow their progress as well as lend some extra support.
Today, we are happy to report that Katie and Maura are doing very well at their new careers and enjoying it immensely. They are making a neat little income annually and they are very happy with their profits. No, they are not making six figure incomes but enough to make their lives more comfortable and affordable. We can safely say that they have found a very unique niche and they are using their skills and motivation to make it work.
