According to this American-based survey more than 44% of American men surveyed expressed a strong preference for family over career.  Questions were asked about various topics related to the workplace and when it came to choosing a better career path or job over family life this growing group of men chose their family.  This group has been growing steadily over the past five years and it definitely signifies a change in workplace attitudes.  This result can be backed up with other stats that show that more and more men are choosing to take paternity leave.  It would be interesting to see how this trend affects career paths for men and whether or not family oriented men would have to face a glass ceiling in the future as our business women presently face.
