Something very interesting is taking place within the baby food industry these days and I wanted to mention it to you.  It appears that more and more parents are buying organic baby food and are opting to go the organic way rather than sticking to the regular and established brands and it also appears that our toddler population is only too pleased to oblige.  More and more supermarkets and corner groceries are stocking their shelves with organic baby food and the experts are saying that this trend is poised to take a huge jump for the next few years.  This may mean trouble for those long established baby food manufacturers unless they are able to develop and produce lines of organic baby food brands.  It would be interesting to see what they do but the lesson from this is that we should not keep relying or depending on long established types of demands to stand still.  Demands are going to change as consumers develop new tastes and one pitfall that so many companies fall into is to take consumers tastes for granted.  If you want to stay ahead of your competition then you need to keep your fingers on the pulse of your market and pay particular attention to what your consumers are demanding and craving.
