This morning I am going to tell you about two brothers who are doing very well as small businessmen. Meet Chad and Ryan Marconi and they live in Missouri. Both brothers had the misfortune to lose their jobs 18 months ago and they admit that when they did they had no idea what they were going to do with the rest of their lives. They were both in their 30s with young families and they both had mortgages to pay, families to take care of, and not much savings in the bank. Needless to say they were both devastated and very much afraid for their futures.
They decided to search the Internet for ideas and came across Kerry J Harrison's first book "Untapped Wealth" and they bought it. They were not totally convinced about the author's theories but nevertheless they sent her an email and two months later she responded. Ms Harrison arranged for Chad and Ryan to meet with her and her consulting team. Their email appealed to her and she wanted to help them get back on their feet.
Ms Harrison and her team helped the brothers to generate some ideas for a small town business and the rest is history. Today, a little over a year after they met with Kerry Harrison and her team Chad and Ryan are in business as a plant care operation. They go out to various companies and look after plants in the offices and around the premises for the companies. According to Chad: "It's hard work but we're enjoying it and we're building a reputation for ourselves." Ryan is hopeful that with time they can enhance on their little business by opening a nursery to supply plants to their clients and that their wives can help with the nursery side of things.
